Why did you make this zine?
Self care and learning about mental health has been incredibly important to me for over 10 years. I have been an anxious person all of my life, even in primary school I would experience anxiety. But I had no idea that it was a term until I was 16 when my best friend started experiencing panic attacks. Only then did I start to learn about mental health.
Mental health is an incredibly important subject to learn about even if you don't struggle with mental health issues as self care is such an integral part of everyday life.
I wanted this zine to be a nice and easy introduction to mental health, something that no matter your age or your struggles that it would help in someway.
Whoever you are, whatever struggles you have, taking time to look after yourself really helps you and the people around you. This zine encompasses Honey's favourite ways to relax which will hopefully inspire you to do the same!
The zine is appropriate for all ages and is also a great introduction to mental health and self care for children.
